About Me

I am an investigative journalist and writer with a passion for uncovering stories that expose injustice, shape public discourse, and amplify underrepresented voices. My work has been published in The WAVE, LA Focus, and other media outlets, covering topics ranging from social justice, public policy, environmental crises, and racial disparities in policing and housing.
I hold a Master’s in Creative Writing and a Paralegal Certificate from UCLA, which enhances my ability to analyze complex legal and policy issues in my reporting. My investigative work has explored issues such as lead contamination in Watts, rising hate crimes in Los Angeles, and the intersection of government accountability and community activism.
Beyond journalism, I am preparing to self-publish my first book, further blending my storytelling skills with real-world narratives. My work is driven by a commitment to truth, justice, and giving a voice to those often ignored by mainstream media.

"The writer has to take the most used, most familiar objects—nouns, pronouns, verbs, adverbs—ball them together and make them bounce, turn them a certain way and make people get into a romantic mood; and another way, into a bellicose mood. I'm most happy to be a writer."
